“Are we ready for negotiations with Ukraine? Yes, we are. But we are not ready for negotiations based on someone’s “wishes” after using psychotropic drug. We are only ready for negotiations based on realities that developed on the ground. That is first. Secondly, we were promised everything many times. They promised that NATO wouldn’t expand to East, but we saw them on our borders. They promised to resolve the internal conflict in Ukraine in a peaceful, political way. As we remember, the Foreign Ministers of Poland, Germany and France came to Kiev and promised to be the guarantor of these agreements - a coup happened a day later. They promised to fulfill Minsk agreements and then publicly announced that they were not going to keep these promises at all. They were simply taking a break to arm the Bandera regime in Ukraine. We were promised a lot, that’s why promising is not enough for us.” – Vladimir Putin said.

Putin said that it would be foolish for Russia to negotiate because Ukraine is running out of ammunition.

“However, we are ready for serious negotiations and we want to resolve all the conflicts, especially this one, through peaceful ways. But we must clearly understand that this negotiation is not another pause for enemy to receive more ammunition. This is serious negotiation with security guarantees for the Russian Federation.”
