The draft statement of the meeting of the leaders of the European Union, which will be held next week, shows that the members of this union are planning measures against Iran due to the possibility of transferring missiles to Russia.

“After the news about Iran's transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine, the European Union is preparing to respond with new significant measures against Iran,” the report said.

“The European Council called on third countries to immediately stop financial support for Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine,” it was noted in the draft statement of the European Union.”

It should be noted that according to the information previously published by Reuters citing 6 sources, Iran sent 400 short-range Fateh-110 missiles and Zolfaghar missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of 300 and 700 kilometers to Russia.

In the draft statement of the summit, which is scheduled to be held on March 21-22, states that "the reports are alarming and the European Union is ready to respond to Iran in a coordinated and immediate manner with international partners."
