As Novruz is approaching, Urmia Municipality placed a symbolic cart full of flowers with the “Happy Holiday” greeting in the city. However, that sentence was erased by unknown persons.

According to the information, the municipality restored the erased sentence a few hours later.

We should note that terrorist groups related to Kurds, who were gradually placed as guests by the Iranian regime in West Azerbaijan, especially in the city of Urmia, are already making territorial claims to Urmia and other regions of the province.

For this purpose, members of Kurdish terrorist groups, to deny the Turkish nature of the city, erase sentences written in Turkish.

Similar activities happened many times in Urmia. Even the Turkish names of the streets of Urmia were painted over.

After the parliamentary elections held in Iran, members of Kurdish terrorist groups chanted the “Urmia is Kurdistan” slogan.
