Human rights defender Jaleh Tabrizi addressed the UN Human Rights Council

Jaleh Tabrizi, a South Azerbaijani human rights defender living in Europe and the president of the Association for the Defence of Human Rights of Azerbaijanis of Iran - ArcDH, addressed the 55th session of the UN Human Rights Council.

Jaleh Tabrizi spoke about human rights violations in Iran and South Azerbaijan at the meeting held at the headquarters of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

She drew attention to the fact that the Iranian Mullah regime conducts discriminatory policies in South Azerbaijan in terms of politics, nationality, economy, and culture.
"Turks in Azerbaijan face workplace and societal discrimination, and the state media contributes significantly to the spread of racial discrimination. We are extremely concerned about the future of our children. We demand the establishment of serious mechanisms to better protect the rights of people from national, linguistic, ethnic, and religious minorities," Jaleh Tabrizi stated during her speech.
