Iran's charge d'affaires in London, Seyed Mehdi Hosseini Matin, was summoned to the British Foreign Office.
The Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed this in a statement.
“Foreign Minister David Cameron called the charge d'affaires of the Iranian embassy today (read: April 14). The United Kingdom strongly condemns Iran's direct and unprecedented attack on Israel, as well as its violations of Jordanian and Iraqi airspace. This was an extremely dangerous and unnecessary escalation by Iran during a period of high tension in the Middle East."
The Kingdom's Foreign Ministry pledged to "continue to protect the security of Israel and all regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq," as well as "work with international partners to protect and maintain regional stability." London urged Tehran to "take significant and urgent steps to de-escalate and halt its reckless and illegal behavior."
At the same time, Iran's ambassador to Paris, Mohammad Amin Nijat, was summoned to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Stéphane Séjourné, the head of the foreign policy department, stated this on the "France 2" television channel.
"I have summoned the Iranian ambassador to convey the signal of our determination," Séjourné stated.
Simultaneously, the minister stated that the Middle Eastern conflict should not be allowed to escalate. According to him, France's top priority is the release of hostages, a cease-fire, and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Hanke Bruins Slot, acting as the Netherlands' foreign minister, summoned Hadi Farajvandi, the Iranian ambassador in The Hague, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Last night, I decided to call the Iranian ambassador in The Hague to express our condemnation of Iran's dangerous attack on Israel," the European diplomat posted on social media.
