The Iranian regime threatens Israel with half-century-old Jets

The commander of the Iranian Army Air Force, Hamid Vahedi, stated that the forces are prepared to carry out orders against Israel with Soviet-era Su-24 military aircraft.

"We are ready to hit our targets with the Sukhoi 24," Vahedi said, pointing out that the Sukhoi Su-24 first entered service in 1974. The aircraft is part of Iran's limited strike aircraft inventory, which includes several older models from both the United States and Russia.

Vahedi's statement comes after Iran's air attack against Israel over the weekend. The Iranian regime fired more than 350 missiles and drones at Israel, most of which were neutralized by Israel and its allies.

Tehran says that this attack was a response to the destruction of the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1.

Vahedi's comment about the outdated, half-century-old Su-24 military aircraft became an object of laughter on the social network.

Currently, the Air Force of the Iranian regime uses about 30 Su-24MKs, which were purchased from Iraq and other post-Soviet countries during the 1991 Gulf War.
