He made the announcement on his social media account.

"I, along with other activists, was fired from the plant after 17 years of employment due to false accusations. I will not give up," the Azerbaijani activist posted on social media.

According to Afshar Muhib Imcha, security officials requested the firing of him and a number of other employees.

This occurred on June 18, following a strike action held in Namin city to protest the violation of workers' rights at the "Arta" Industrial Complex.

According to reports, Afshar Muhib Imcha was punished for his role in organizing the action.

It should be noted that the activist has previously faced pressure and been arrested for his peaceful cultural activities.

Since 2021, he has been imprisoned several times on charges of "propaganda activities against the Islamic Republic," "insulting the Iranian identity to purposefully create tension," "propaganda against the system," and "propaganda activities in favor of opposition groups and organizations."
