The date of the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has been announced.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s Presiding Board, Hojjatoleslam Alireza Salimi, provided information on this.
The swearing-in ceremony for Pezeshkian, according to him, is scheduled for July 30 at the Iranian parliament meeting.
Per Iranian law, President Pezeshkian is required to present the Majlis with the composition of his government two weeks following the swearing-in ceremony.
Notably, reformer Masoud Pezeshkian, a member of the Azerbaijani Turks, defeated opponent Saeed Jalili to win the presidency in the second round of the July 5 presidential elections.
