The leader of Yemen's Houthi terrorist organization, which is linked to Iran, called on newly elected President Pezeshkian.
Iranian media reported on this.
Mahdi Al Mashat, a Yemeni politician, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, and military leader from the Houthi movement, called Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian to congratulate him on his election.
He also praised Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, for his support for Palestine. Masud Pezeshkian responded, "We applaud the leader's bold decision to support the people of Yemen and Palestine."
It should be noted that the leaders of the Iranian-backed terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah had previously congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian.
The new president assured them that Iran's support for proxy forces in the region would continue.
