It was reported that the activist's charges and the circumstances surrounding his arrest remain undisclosed, even though many months have gone since his arrest.

The activist was forbidden from seeing his family and from speaking to them on the phone during this time, and he was repeatedly tortured to force him to make a false confession.

Mir Akbar Huseyni was summoned to the IRGC security division on March 24 and detained there upon his arrival.

This is allegedly because of the posts that 22-year-old Mir Akbar Huseyni made on social media. It should be mentioned that the Tabrizi activist had previously been arrested three times for his involvement in protests and public activities.

He was charged with "membership of opposition groups" and "propaganda against the government."
