The Iranian website "Jamaran" reported on this, citing energy expert Abdullah Babakhni.

"Despite the strikes in offices and public spaces in cities, 60% of the country's industries have been paralyzed, and the country is on the verge of shutting down due to a 25% electricity deficit," Babakhani said.

Furthermore, there have been issues with the supply of electricity to hospitals across the country.

According to local media, the hospital in Mahallat, Central Province, experienced a power outage, endangering the lives of 18 patients connected to the dialysis machine.

Previously, a similar incident occurred in several Gilan provincial hospitals. It should be noted that in recent weeks, a number of important economic enterprises have experienced operational issues due to a lack of electricity.
