Pezeshkian will make first foreign visit to Iraq

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will make his first official visit to Iraq as head of state.

"Al Mayadeen" news agency reported on this.

According to reports, this visit is being organized at the invitation of Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid.

Although the exact date of the visit has not been announced, it is expected that Pezeshkian will arrive before attending the UN's annual meeting in New York.

It should be noted that previous speculation suggested Pezeshkian would make his first official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
