The Free Union of Iranian Workers (FUIW) reported about it.

Hundreds of nurses reportedly quit their jobs and participated in protests in the Iranian provinces of Golestan and Bushehr.

Simultaneously, a number of foreign nations staged demonstrations in support of the striking nurses and denounced the oppression of them.

It should be mentioned that there have been protests by tens of thousands of nurses from 60 hospitals across 37 cities in the nation.

Among their complaints are inadequate compensation, late payments, unpaid overtime, and other rights that are required by law.

Health system representatives and officials claim that the nurses' strike is causing problems for hospitals.

Security staff threaten nurses and tell them not to take part in protests in an effort to put an end to demonstrations.
