Pan-Iranists attacked Zahra Rahimi's "I am Turk" post

Zahra Rahimi, the youngest Paralympic athlete from the city of Marand in South Azerbaijan, Iran, achieved a historic success and won the first silver medal for the geography of Iran in the field of para-taekwondo.

She celebrated achievement and shared the images of the race with a piece from the famous Turkish rapper Payam Turk's song "Menem Turk" (I am a Turk) on social networks.

Nevertheless, the Turkish enemy fascist groups targeted this post right away.

These groups severely insulted and targeted Zahra Rahim because they were racist and ethnically fanatical and would not accept the expression of Turkish identity.

Zahra Rahimi was forced to delete her post because the Iranian government's relevant groups supported these racist groups while turning a blind eye to their pressure.

This incident is a clear example of the cultural oppression and discrimination against the free expression of non-Persian identities, especially the Turkish identity, in the Iranian geography.

This is also a manifestation of Iran's long history of systematic racism and hostility toward Turkey.

Just as the Turks are repeatedly subjected to racist insults in the country, these insults are systematically instilled in the society by the Iranian government.

School textbooks, media, and official publications contain distorted information against Turkish identity and history.

In Tehran stadiums, the slogan "Death for Turkish" has become one of the most popular among Iranian fans.
