Tehran plays a crucial role in providing weapons to the Houthis

The Yemeni Houthis have grown into a formidable military force thanks to the IRGC's Quds Force, Lebanese Hezbollah, and Iraqi experts.

Reuters reported on this, citing a confidential report from UN sanctions observers.

"The Houthis, along with Hamas, Hezbollah, and a number of other armed groups in Iraq and Syria, are members of the "Resistance Front," which was formed with the Iranian government's support in the last few decades and is still in operation," the information stated.

According to a report by United Nations sanctions monitors, Yemeni Houthis traveled to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq on fake passports and received tactical and technical training there.

According to the report, the Houthis, who have been subject to a UN arms embargo since 2015, use the same weapons systems as Iran and the groups it supports.

It should be noted that the "Wall Street Journal" previously reported that Iran sent weapons to Yemen's Houthis via Djibouti.

According to this information, weapons are transported from Iranian ports to the East African country of Djibouti, where they are delivered to the Iranian-backed Houthis by civilian ships.
