The information was broadcast on Israel's "Channel 12" television network.

The media, citing ministry sources, reported that Israel "will demand a heavy payment from the Ayatollah regime."

It has been noted that the expected tough response is closely linked to the Biden administration, and Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden may speak soon by phone.

According to the report, Israel's response is expected within the next few days. According to sources, Israel cannot and will not leave this attack unanswered; however, several options are being considered: "Israel is also attempting to exert strong diplomatic pressure on the United States and the West in general to impose harsh new sanctions on Iran. Israel does not want to be satisfied with just military action to deal a serious blow to Iran."

The media also emphasized that the Israeli Air Force is ready to respond and is waiting for instructions from the political leadership.
