In Shabestar district and Nazarlu city of East Azerbaijan province, local human rights activists held a protest in support of national prisoner Ali Razizade Nadarli.
Local activists reported on this.
It was reported that the activists protested the illegal arrest of Razizade. They distributed flayers demanding his release.
The slogans "Freedom to the political prisoners of Azerbaijan, Ali Razizade Nadarli" and "Freedom, Justice, National government" are written on flayers featuring the political activist's photo.
It should be noted that Ali Razizade Nadarli, accused of "undermining the national security of the country by joining the pan-Turkism group," was transferred to Evin prison on October 29, 2023, to serve his prison sentence.
He was sentenced to one year in prison, and after his release, he was barred from participating in political and public organizations, using social media, or leaving the country for another two years.
