The law protecting underage girls has been abolished in Iran

In Iran, the age limit for girls to become pregnant has been removed. It means it is legal for 15-year-old girls to get pregnant in Iran.

Alireza Raisi, Deputy Minister of Health of Iran, shared information about this.

He stated that previously, the term "dangerous situation" was changed to "needing special attention" in medical textbooks about girls' pregnancies at this age.

It should be noted that prior to this, Iranian officials, particularly clerics led by Ali Khamenei, issued instructions encouraging early marriage to increase population.

The Iranian government has provided special privileges and free loans for minor marriages.
