Iranian regime imprisoned another journalist

An arrest warrant has been issued for Hossein Jafarian, a journalist and media activist from the city of Ajab Shir, East Azerbaijan province.

Therefore, the South Azerbaijani journalist was imprisoned for 13 months and 16 days.

In addition to being the manager of the social media channel "Ajabsher culture," Hossein Jafarian works as a local correspondent for Iranian radio and television.

Prior to that, he was employed by the IRGC-affiliated news agency "Fars."

It should be mentioned that the report states that 181 journalists and media organizations were prosecuted in Iran between March and August 31 of this year.

At least 34 media activists and journalists were arrested or imprisoned during that time to fulfill their sentences.
