According to reports, Abbas Lisani received an electronic summons letter from the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil City on October 10.

He was told in the letter that he needed to pay the fine at the specified court location within 10 days. This is most likely due to Abbas Lisani's failure to comply with the 32-month exile sentence to the city of Yazd and his subsequent return from there.

It should be noted that on August 31, 2024, security and police forces attacked Abbas Lisani's home in Ardabil city, abducted him, and forcibly transferred him to Yazd city on September 1.

It should be noted that Abbas Lisani was released from Ardabil prison on February 21, 2023, after serving 4 years and 2 months of imprisonment, pursuant to the decree on "general amnesty and reduction of sentences."

Despite being sent to Yazd to serve a sentence of forced exile, the former political prisoner returned to Ardabil, calling the punishment illegal.

Regarding the court decisions, the case's lawyer, Seyyed Mohammadrza Faqihi, stated that if Mr. Lisani was granted a general amnesty, the sentence of forced exile in Yazd city should have been included.

As a result, there is no legal basis for relocating the national activist to the city of Yazd following his release and increasing his sentence.
