Mohammadreza Shalbafan, an Iranian Ministry of Health representative, shared information.

Shalbafan expressed concern and urged the relevant state institutions to take practical steps.

"All institutions must carefully plan and implement measures to reduce psychological harm," he stated.

It should be noted that previous statistics show that the number of people suffering from depression in Iran is rapidly increasing.

As a result, the country experienced a significant increase in suicides. Thus, 40,000 of the hundreds of thousands of Iranians who attempted suicide in the previous seven years died as a result of suicide.

Psychologists believe that this is caused by hopelessness, poverty, unemployment, and other problems.
