Following the completion of his one-year sentence, Ali Razizade Nadarli, a national activist from the village of Nadarli in the Shabestar region of East Azerbaijan province, was freed from Tehran's Evin prison.
His relatives shared about this on social media.
Human rights and national-cultural activists reportedly greeted the activist upon his release from prison on October 14.
Remember that on October 29, 2023, Ali Razizade Nadarli was sentenced to serve his time in Evin prison after he was charged with "undermining the national security of the country by joining the pan-Turkism group."
Despite having served his full one-year prison sentence, Razizade Nadarli is prohibited by the court's ruling from joining any political or public institution, from using social media, and from leaving the country for a period of two years.
