The value of the Iranian currency has dropped precipitously in Tehran's free market at the same time that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has pledged to boost the nation's economy and raise the value of the national currency.
Sources in Tehran's free market shared this information.
According to reports, on the morning of October 24, each US dollar was worth 68,500 Iranian toman, while each euro was worth 73,100 Iranian toman. It should be noted that two days ago, each dollar was worth approximately 62,750 Iranian toman.
Economic experts predict that the country's currency will fall further as a result of Israel's expected retaliatory attack on Iran.
