In addition, Mahmoud Ojaghloo's conditional release request was denied because his family was unable to pay the 2 billion Iranian tomans bail.

The Court of Appeal of Tehran Province sentenced Mahmoud Ojaghloo to 11 years in prison.

According to the court decision, he was charged with "assembling and colluding," "propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran," and "membership of the Azerbaijan National Movement."

It should be noted that the activist was denied the opportunity to meet with his lawyer or family members while in prison.
