Imprisoned Activist Addressed South Azerbaijanis Via Video Recording 

Baghir Hajizade, South Azerbaijani activist imprisoned in Evin prison, made an appeal to South Azerbaijanis in a recorded message in response to his harsh and unjust punishment.

The activist's brother posted about it on social media: "9 months ago, the security forces arrested my brother without a warrant and beat him at work before transferring him to Tehran's Evin prison. They sentenced him unfairly to 13 years in prison for defending his native language and supporting Azerbaijan's victory in Karabakh." - mentioned in the post.

It should be noted that according to the verdict issued by the 15th branch chaired by judge Abulqasim Salvati, Bagir Hajizadeh, Araz Aman and Ayaz Seifkhah were each sentenced to 13 years, Tahir Naqavi, Murtuza Parvin 6 years, Vadud Asadi 9 years 6 months, Huseyn Piri, Salar Tahir Afshar, Said Minayi 5 years, Kamal Nuri, Suleyman Mohammadi were sentenced to 3 years in prison.
