This was reported by Qashqai cultural activists.

The protest was in response to the Iranian government's registration of the Qashqai national dress and other cultural attributes in the name of the Lor people.

The protesters called the registration of national costumes in the name of another nation another example of the government's policy against Turks in Iran.

It is worth noting that there are approximately 3 million Qashqai Turks living in Iran's southern and central regions.

The "Qashqai yurt" refers to the lands of Qashqai Turks who live in Iran's Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, as well as Isfahan, Fars, and Bushehr.
