The Iranian Parliament held a meeting about Syria 

The events in Syria and Bashar al-Assad's overthrow were discussed in the Iranian parliament.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, Hossein Salami, attended the meeting as well.

According to Ahmet Nadiri, a member of the parliamentary committee, one of the IRGC Quds forces' commanders was supposed to attend the meeting but did not show up.

"The fall of the Assad government in Syria and the future of regional events were discussed. According to reports, our military advisors and forces were in Syria until the final moments before Bashar Assad's government fell, and there are no Iranian forces in Syria now," Nadiri added.

Five members of parliament spoke at the meeting, with Hossein Salami speaking twice and delivering a final report on what happened in Syria.

Iran's military strategies in the region, Israel's and Iran's operations against Israel, and the current security, intelligence, and military situation in the region were the common topics of discussion at the meeting, according to Ahmad Nadiri.
