After Assad's overthrow, disagreements within the IRGC increased

There are more and more disagreements among the IRGC forces about Bashar al-Assad's overthrow.

The British newspaper "Telegraph" published information on this.

The newspaper reports that Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders are upset about the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime and accuse one another of being responsible for the decline of Iran's power in the area.

It should be mentioned that the Iranian government has spent billions of dollars to support the Assad regime in addition to getting involved in the Syrian civil war.

Regarding the matter, former deputy Bahram Parsai posted on the "X" social network a while back, stating that Syria owed Iran $30 billion while he was a member of parliament.

It should be noted that Bashar al-Assad's government was a key link in what the Iranian government dubbed the "axis of resistance" in the Middle East, and its demise significantly weakened the Iranian government's regional influence.
