In the South Azerbaijani city of Qazvin, residents whose funds were embezzled staged another protest on January 7.
The information about the protest was shared on social media.
To protest the embezzlement of their money by the "Rezayat Khodro Taravat Novin" car company, 28,000 investors marched from the city court to the provincial governor's building.
Although the state-owned automaker received funds from numerous citizens, the defrauded investors protested that they had not received their cars for years.
It should be mentioned that following the persistent protests of Qazvin residents, a number of the company's management were taken into custody, and their trials are presently in progress.
The Ghazvin residents who were defrauded claim that the trial was unfairly held and that the primary embezzlers were not prosecuted.
The victims are not given their cars or their money, despite the fact that there have been dozens of similar incidents over the last two years.
