This was reported by Saeed Naqdi, an Iranian Court lawyer.

According to him, Yogesh Panchal, who was arrested on December 4, 2024, will be sent to India on February 4, while Mohammad Sadeeque was deported a few days ago and went to Oman.

Another Indian, Sumeet Sud, who was arrested, is said to be in custody and no further information about him is available.

It should be noted that on February 1, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement announcing the disappearance of three Indian tourists who had visited Iran and demanding an explanation from the Iranian authorities.

Iran has arrested dozens of foreign citizens or dual nationals in recent years, primarily on espionage or security charges.

Human rights activists describe Iran's arrest of citizens from other countries as "government hostage-taking," claiming that Tehran uses this tactic to put pressure on these countries and extract concessions.
