This was stated by Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Abdulreza Golpayghani.

"Since these buildings have no solid foundation or structure, they will most likely collapse during a 4-5 magnitude earthquake," he warned.

At the same time, Ghadratollah Mohammadi, the director of the Tehran Fire Department, issued a similar warning.

He stated that 50% of the buildings housing government offices in Tehran are unsafe, and no funds have been allocated to address the issue.

Similarly, Mehdi Pirhadi, a Tehran City Council member, has warned that the capital's 35,000 buildings are unsafe and unusable.

"With this, we have information that if citizens read it, they will be unable to sleep at night because of fear," he said, emphasizing that the situation is more dangerous than official reports.
