According to information obtained, two Azerbaijan National Movement activists, Samad Heydari and Reza Selimi, who were detained and beaten by security forces on January 23, 2025, were transferred to a secure room in Tabriz prison on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

The activists contacted their families and reported that they were subjected to severe torture, resulting in damage to their hands and noses.

In recent days, the families of these two activists have contacted security and justice agencies to inquire about their condition and whereabouts, but they have received conflicting responses from those responsible.

The families of the activists are deeply concerned about their physical health. Reza Salimi's mother, who is ill, is particularly unaware of her son's condition, which has exacerbated her own.

It should be noted that the official charges, detention conditions, and legal proceedings against these two activists have yet to be determined.
