Russia will help Iran develop its nuclear program

Russia is prepared to assist Tehran in resolving issues concerning Iran's nuclear program.

This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

"We are convinced that the issue of Iran's nuclear program can and should be resolved through diplomacy, as long as all participants in the negotiation process demonstrate political will. Moscow values good relations with Iran and is eager to expand them, including assisting in the resolution of critical issues such as the nuclear program," Peskov mentioned.

According to Peskov, the start of Russian-American talks will not have an impact on Russia-Iran cooperation. It should be noted that Iran is accused of militarily supporting Russia in its war of aggression against Ukraine, as well as supplying Russia with Shahed drones, which Iran denies.
