A source close to the Azerbaijani activist's family confirmed the news, saying: "Mr. Asadi distributed Turkish books among schoolchildren to protect the mother tongue and celebrate International Mother Language Day, and shared it on social media, and afterwards he was arrested."
Azerbaijani activists distributed Turkish poetry and children's books to children in various cities, emphasizing the importance of teaching the mother tongue and the benefits of receiving education in the mother tongue, and urging parents to pay more attention to this issue.
