A two-day strike has been declared in Iran's Yazd province due to water shortages.
The provincial governor's office issued a statement about this.
"As a result of sabotage to the water pipeline, problems have arisen in the water supply of various areas," according to the statement.
There was no further information provided about who or how the sabotage was carried out. According to some unofficial sources, a water pipeline being built from Yaz to Isfahan was blown up.
It should be noted that for the past week, farmers in Isfahan have been protesting the transfer of water from Isfahan to Yaz despite not receiving their water quotas.
