"Israel is concerned by Sudan's deal with the devil."

Israel is concerned about Sudan's rapprochement with Iran in the midst of the country's civil war, which has lasted since 2023.

Sudanese military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan restored diplomatic relations with Iran, which had been severed in 2016, in July 2024.  According to the Israeli "Kan" channel, Tehran has since provided al-Burhan with military assistance.

According to the report, al-Burhan turned to Iran after being disappointed by Israel's failure to provide him with military support.

Although al-Burhan did not specifically request assistance from Tehran, a source close to the Sudanese leader told Kan: "Sudan is forced to cooperate with any party interested in providing it with weapons. There is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wishes to help Sudan both openly and secretly."

According to the source, the North African country is awaiting such assistance from Israel, which could result in a significant improvement in relations. "Without Israel's assistance, Sudan was helpless. Sudan's friends abandoned it, so it turned to Iran. We will even make a deal with the devil to protect Sudan's interests."
