The explosion at the port was allegedly a provocation. Ali Khamenei directed security agencies to determine whether the explosion was deliberate or negligent. There is an ongoing investigation into the port explosion.

On April 29, three days after the port explosion, an explosion occurred at a gunpowder factory warehouse in Isfahan. The explosion killed two employees and injured one. The explosion's cause has yet to be revealed by authorities. The fires in Iran are not limited to the explosion at the port or the gunpowder plant.

Fires have broken out in various parts of the country in the last few days. A fire broke out at a major power plant in Karaj, Alborz province, according to social media reports. Later, Iranian officials claimed that the fire did not start at the power plant, but at a nearby garbage collection facility and cardboard factory.

While images and claims of a fire at the power plant circulated on social media, state television broadcast images from the plant and claimed that there was no fire. Later, it was reported that a lightning strike caused a fire in a forested area in the western province of Ilam.

A fire broke out at a factory located in Qom's organized industrial zone. Two of the five workers were critically hurt. A large fire broke out at a factory in Mashhad, in the eastern province of Razavi Khorasan.

The fire's causes are being investigated, but no casualties or injuries have been reported. It should be noted that the Iranian regime does not provide specific information about the explosions or fires that occurred, and it is unclear whether these incidents were sabotaged.
