The resolution proposed by the United States and three European countries (Germany, the UK, and France) for adoption at the IAEA Board of Governors meeting is unlikely to yield a positive outcome.

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated this on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

“The IAEA Board of Governors meeting will begin on Monday, and ‘tense discussions’ regarding Iran’s nuclear program can be expected,” he added.

Ulyanov claimed that the U.S. and the three European countries intend to submit a draft resolution concerning Iran’s nuclear program to the Board meeting, “and it will definitely not produce a positive result.”

It should be noted that the United States has warned Iran of severe consequences if it refuses to accept the proposed conditions related to uranium enrichment.
