Hundreds of posters of Azerbaijani activist Morteza Parvin have been distributed in Ardabil.
On Monday, June 9, 2025, a group of civil activists and artists in Ardabil protested the unlawful imprisonment of Azerbaijani painter and civil activist Morteza Parvin, who is being held in Evin Prison, by distributing and putting up hundreds of posters featuring his image. They also demanded that he receive medical treatment.
The posters included the words: “Imprisoned artist Morteza Parvin.”
It should be noted that Mr. Morteza Parvin was sentenced to six years in prison in September 2024 by Judge Abolqasem Salavati of Branch 15 of the Tehran Islamic Revolutionary Court.
This sentence was fully upheld by Branch 36 of the Tehran Court of Appeals on January 16, 2025.
