Armenian National Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan has stated that discussions are ongoing between Yerevan and Baku regarding the delimitation and demarcation of the interstate border. He made the remarks during the “APRI-2025” conference held in Yerevan, according to APA via Günaz TV.

Grigoryan noted that the technical aspects of the process are currently under discussion. He recalled the most recent meeting took place in January 2025, during which the deputy prime ministers of both countries agreed to continue the delimitation process from the Armenia–Azerbaijan–Georgia section of the border.

He added that confidential diplomatic efforts are underway to clarify the technical details and stressed that Armenia is committed to progress and the signing of a peace agreement.

“We clearly want progress and the signing of a peace deal,” Grigoryan said. “There are claims that the proposed agreement does not serve our national interests, but that is not true. Armenia is genuinely seeking a peace agreement.”
