The message comes days after Shamkhani was reportedly seriously injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting his residence.
Earlier, the semi-official Nour News agency had reported that Shamkhani’s overall condition was not satisfactory due to the extent of his injuries. However, in the new message attributed to him, Shamkhani struck a defiant tone, stating: “If fate has it that I remain, then I shall remain... I am alive!”
In recent days, Iranian media circulated a photo of Shamkhani in a hospital, though some sources claim the image is from years ago. His exact medical condition remains unclear.
