Farid Musavi, a representative of the people of Maragha and Ajabshir, sent an official letter to the governor of East Azerbaijan, warning about the critical state of investment in these two districts.
In this letter, Mousavi pointed out that despite the high economic potential in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism and mining, the high unemployment rate in Maragha and Ajabshir has become a serious alarm signal for the economic future of the region.
He openly criticized the activities of agencies and banks against investors.
The letter cited programs such as the tourism project of the Bavarvira company, the Maragha Agro-Industrial Complex, the project of the Parsian Company in the field of non-ferrous metals, the Dareh Goshayesh project, the Maragha Special Economic Zone, the Akhavan Isfandiyari and the Abdul Razzaq steel project as examples.
Mousavi asked the governor of East Azerbaijan to issue clear and firm orders to remove the administrative and financial obstacles facing these projects and to continuously monitor the process until the final result is achieved.
"Opportunities are lost, investors are returning, and people are expecting serious measures more than ever," Mousavi said.
