Threats have been made to Azerbaijan from the Iranian parliament

Kamran Ghazanfari, a representative of Tehran and Rey in the Iranian parliament, one of the figures of the extremist group known as the "Paydari Front", has launched severe and unprecedented attacks on Azerbaijan.

In a long speech in the Iranian parliament, he accused Azerbaijan of direct and continuous cooperation with Israel in the war with Iran and made many allegations against Azerbaijan, from providing military and intelligence bases to Israel to collaborating in the assassination of its leader. He claimed that Azerbaijan's goal is to overthrow the regime of the Islamic Republic and that it is cooperating with Israel in this direction.

He then turned his attacks on Masoud Pezeshkian:

"Why is he visiting Azerbaijan, why is he establishing friendly and personal relations with President Ilham Aliyev?! Doesn't he know that he (Ed. - Ilham Aliyev) is trying to overthrow the Islamic Republic?!" - said Ghazanfari.

Kamran Ghazanfari actually accuses Masoud Pezeshkian of also wanting to overthrow the regime of the Islamic Republic. This claim was previously made by Abulfazl Zohravand, another anti-Turkish and anti-Azerbaijani member of the Paydari Front.

The repetition of this claim shows that the Paydari movement is systematically trying to remove Pezeshkian from the scene, and even to prosecute him if possible, by accusing him of collaborating with hostile governments and trying to overthrow the regime.
