Activists of the Azerbaijan National Movement expressed their support for Yilmaz Mehralibeyli

Following the arrest of Yilmaz Mehralibeyli by security forces, a group of Azerbaijani activists sent messages to human rights organizations, emphasizing their support for him and the continuation of the struggle for the rights of the Azerbaijani people.

Activists noted that Yılmaz Mehralibeyli is a symbol of the will of a nation that has been fighting for its identity, language, and human rights for years. In their opinion, the Islamic Republic will not be able to silence the true voice of the Azerbaijani people through repression and intimidation, and this voice will be heard louder and louder every day.

The messages of support say: "It will not be possible to silence Yılmaz and the freedom fighters. This pressure will make us even more determined and stubborn in continuing on our path."

The activists also called on international organizations and human rights organizations not to remain silent in the face of these repressions, and to use political and media pressure to force the Islamic Republic to unconditionally release Yılmaz Mehralibeyli and other Turkish political prisoners.
