Araz Aman, an Azerbaijani activist who is imprisoned in Evin Prison, was insulted by the prison doctor he sought treatment for severe knee pain.
According to a source close to the activist's family, the prison doctor used derogatory language towards the activist.
"If you and your kind are hanged, then your pain will end," the doctor insulted Aram Aman.
It should be noted that Araz Aman was arrested by security forces in Tabriz on February 7, 2024, without a court order. After being held in custody for a year, the 15th branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Ebolghasim Salavati, sentenced him to 8 years in prison on charges of "espionage" and 5 years on charges of "threatening national security."
