Accusations against Azerbaijan again sounded on Iranian television

Iranian border guards clearly saw Israeli drones crossing from the Republic of Azerbaijan into Iran.

This was stated by the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, Ibrahim Ibrahim Azizi, in an interview with the country's SNN television.

According to Azizi, this issue was raised during a meeting between Iranian officials and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and he requested evidence and documents in this regard.

"The lack of evidence is a matter of discussion, but the principle of reality cannot be denied," Azizi said.

He added that Iranian border guards have openly stated that they "saw with their own eyes" that Israeli drones were using the Azerbaijani border to enter Iranian territory.

It should be noted that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, after discussing the issue with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, stated that the allegations that Israeli drones had infiltrated Iran through the skies of the Republic of Azerbaijan were not true.
