The number of executions in Iran has hit a record high in the last 30 years

The identities of 1,012 people executed in Iranian prisons between January 1 and September 24 this year have been identified.

According to the information, this is the highest number of executions recorded in the country during this period in the last 30 years.

50% of those executed were accused of drug trafficking, 43% of murder, 1% of espionage, and the rest of various crimes.

28 of those executed were women.

According to the report, the official Iranian media reported only 11% of those executed.
