According to reports, this was implemented in accordance with the decree issued by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 1.

The order to freeze funds targets individuals and organizations involved in Iran's nuclear development program, including shipping companies, energy companies and research centers.

The targeted entities include the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, several banks and companies involved in uranium enrichment and nuclear fuel production.

The move follows the re-imposition of UN sanctions. On October 1, Western countries, including the United States, Canada and Britain, announced the re-imposition of UN sanctions against Tehran and new sanctions against the Islamic Republic's nuclear and missile programs.
