A group of activists of the Azerbaijani national movement raised a banner on one of the bridges in the city of Urmia, warning Kurdish terrorist groups and occupying immigrants, calling on them to learn a lesson from history.

This banner features a picture of Simitko's death and the words "The last person to claim that Urmia is Kurdistan - Don't forget history."

In the video, one of the citizens says: "This is Urmia, the beating heart of Azerbaijan, and this is Simitko's picture, we will never forget history."
