Tabriz's Shah Lake Park is being destroyed

A decision has been made to build a police station in the famous historical Shah Lake (El Lake) park located east of Tabriz.

The Tabriz City Council approved the issue at its meeting today and announced that 1,000 square meters of the park area had been allocated for the construction of a police station.

Before that, in 2024, a similar incident occurred in the historic Gulistan Park in the center of Tabriz.

There, too, trees were cut down and greenery was destroyed in an area of ​​1,000 square meters of the park for the construction of a police station.

The spokesperson for the Tabriz City Council, Fridun Babayi Aqdam, who made this public, resigned as a result of pressure from the authorities.
